A DNA test known as a paternity test determines if a guy is a child’s biological father. Although specimens from both the father and the child are most frequently used, paternity can sometimes be established without the father’s help. Avuncular (aunt/uncle) DNA tests, sibling tests, and grandparent DNA tests are additional techniques for paternity testing that can accurately infer paternity. They can all be carried out without the father present.
